Eket Mask (Nigeria) H: 35 cm - Musée Dapper

This puzzling mask, reminiscent of a Louis-XIV style sundisk, is remarkable for its extreme stylization and the expressivity of its severe eyebrows. The holes on the edges of the disk were used to affix vegetable fibers.
