READER COMMENT: WORLD WATER DAY

I very much appreciate your coverage of World Water Day (WWD) and the Global Water Challenge. However, I must point out that WWD came out of the 1992 UN Conference on Environment and Development in Rio. We did not invent it, as the article seems to suggest, though we do try to highlight it and call on the public to observe it.
