NEW YORK, 6 April 2006 —Jazz saxophonist Jackie McLean, who played with legendary musicians including Miles Davis and Sonny Rollins, died last Friday at his home in Hartford, Connecticut after a long illness. He was 73.

 Mike Zwerin interviewed Jackie McLean in Paris where he talked about playing with Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis and his battle with a heroin addiction.
