LOS ANGELES, 4 AUGUST 2011 — This weekend (5 - 7 August), thousands of people will descend upon the scenic Colorado mountain town of Telluride to hear the best in jazz, funk, blues and soul music. For those unable to make the trip to Telluride for the 35th celebration, the festival promoters have announced that many of the performances from the weekend will be broadcast live on the Internet.

The online broadcast will begin at 1:30MDT on Friday August 5 with the 2011 Telluride Band Contest winners, Springdale Quartet. Other highlights include 10-time Grammy® winner Paquito D’Rivera, Taylor Hicks and The Bad Plus. In addition to at least ten live sets, interviews from several of the artists will be broadcast live throughout the weekend.
