Barenboim Plays Beethoven


VIENNA, 1 April 2004—It was not all that long ago that Daniel Barenboim conducted all nine Beethoven symphonies in the Musikverein. Now he returns to the Großer Musikvereinssaal where he will play all 32 Beethoven piano sonatas in eight evenings spread out over two weeks.
