Wagner's Ring cycle is here reduced to a pretty, but primitive (and seemingly unfinished) computer game by French game developer Cryo Studios. Die-hard computer gamers and Wagnerians alike will be repulsed by the result.
One of the drier and harder to search items in a standard reference collection was a good candidate for multimedia transformation. But the result is a mystifying postmodern mess.
