In the main event, “The Prodigy” BJ Penn defends his lightweight crown for the first time against former champion Sean “the Muscle Shark” Sherk. Also on the bout card are light heavyweight bouts, with former 205-pound champ “Huntington Beach Bad Boy”,Tito Ortiz facing off against unbeaten Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida, and “The Axe Murderer”, Wanderlei Silva, making his return to the Octagon against “The Dean of Mean”, Keith Jardine.

Despite a relatively short run in the early 1980s, The Police live on as one of the most influential bands of their era. They first hit it big with singles like “Roxanne,” “Message in a Bottle” and “Don’t Stand So Close to Me” and then they became a sensation with the release of the album “Synchronicity” with the track “Every Breath You Take.” Blending reggae, punk, jazz and rock, they dominated the top of the charts and radio airwaves worldwide for the six years they were together.

A portion of the proceeds from this tour will be donated to WaterAid, an international NGO founded in 1981 and dedicated to reducing poverty by improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education.

Atomic Testing Museum

The Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas displays the work conducted at the Nevada Test Site and its impact on the Unitied States.

The 8,000 square foot permanent exhibit hall includes artifacts on loan from personal collections, the Smithsonian Institution, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory and pieces of the Berlin wall and World Trade Centers. Designed to be a highly interactive experience, the exhibits include touch screens, motion-sensitive plasma TV presentations, audio interviews with former workers from the test site and various other multi-media components.

Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas

In addition to the permanent exhibits, the museum also has a 2,000 square foot changing exhibit hall, a museum store and a History Walk. Adjacent to the museum are the Nuclear Testing Archives, a collection of over 310,000 documents related to radioactive fallout from U.S. testing of nuclear devices.
