Beatriz Esguerra Art presents Encounters, a group exhibit of Colombian and international photographers including artists Laura Letinsky, Roland Fischer, Bill Jacobson, Janice Mehlman, Edgar Martins and Rachel Perry Welty, together with Colombian photographers: Lorenza Panero, Max Steven Grossman, Aníbal Gomescasseres and Sebastián Dávila.

Encounters seeks to show that photography is not only used to record the world around us, but also to create abstract, surreal or hyperreal images, sometimes approaching painting in its compositions, colors and atmospheres. The works exhibited encompass an array of techniques ranging from direct, non-manipulated photography to photo-performance, luminography, montages and collages
