This exhibition presents Gustav Klimt (1862 - 1918) exclusively as a landscape painter with masterpieces from European and American museums and private collections. During his summer holidays in the Salzkammergut and Italy, Klimt created paintings which rank among the most significant works in his œuvre. The exhibition is accompanied by a lavishly illustrated catalogue with English and German editions, and a programme of special events including art tours in the footsteps of Gustav Klimt.
