First retrospective on the Finnish-born
architect Eero Saarinen (1910 - 1961), whose buildings and furniture captured the aspirations and values of mid-20th-century America. His designs include the GM Techinical Center, Dulles Internaitonal Airport, and John Deere headquarters. The exhibition includes never-before-seen drawings, scale models, designs, photographs, furniture and a documentary on Saarinen.
