Sumo Wrestlers of the Edo Era: Colorful “Nishikie” woodblock Prints from the Otani Kokichi Collection

Masterworks by Shunsho Katsukawa, renowned to be the father of sumo "nishikie", are included among the more than sixty pieces on the great wrestlers.

The museum's collections include modern art from France and Japan, as well as priceless pieces of Japanese traditional Ukiyo-e paintings collected by the hotel's founder, Yonetaro Otani.
