Six dancers create a story of two proper Victorian-era women as they are wooed by two gentlemen suitors in a surreal, dreamlike excursion into rituals of courting, mating and birthing. White Widow Choreography by Moses Pendleton & Cynthia Quinn, Music by Angelo Badalamenti, Lyrics by David Lynch. A solo for a woman on a rope.
Valentine Choreography by Gerald Arpino, Music by Jacob Druckman. Gerald Arpino’s comic battle of the sexes. Caught Choreography by David Parsons, Music by Robert Fripp. A solo for a dancer and a strobe light. I Light Rain Choreography by Gerald Arpino, Music by Douglas Adams and Russ Gauthier. A Joffrey Ballet signature work, in three movements.
