Brazilian singer and songwriter Marisa Monte in concert. She received three nominations for the 7th Annual Latin Grammy Awards and her new albums include, Universo ao meu redor, a collection of samba songs, and Infinito Particular, a contemporary pop album. A critical and popular success, both releases were the result of an in depth study of the samba from Rio and writing new songs with Carlinhos Beown, Amaldo Antunes, Nando Reis, Adriana Calcanhotto, Marcelo Yuka and Seu Jorge. She has started a world tour again with these albums.
