The Madawaska Acadian Festival Celebration celebrates the culture and traditions of the Acadian imigrants who moved to Northern Maine from present-day Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Canadia, in the late 1700s. The event includes a lobster and clam feed, watermelon eating contest, yard sale, bed race and various musical performances.
