Dressed in a a sleeveless flannel shirt and a dirty baseball cap, Larry The Cable Guy is one of the four “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” performers who have taken the United States by storm with their unique brand of working class comedy that speaks to America’s heartland and its working class population. He also stars in the weekly television series Blue Collar TV that airs on the WB network.
Larry the Cable Guy was born Dan Whitney on a pig farm in Nebraska. He now has a redneck act and an exaggerated drawl that sells out shows around the United States — especially in the red (Republican) states.
His CD, “The Right To Bare Arms,” continues to be the top-selling comedy album in America and has remained in the top 10 selling country CDs since its release last March.
