This show is timed to the 90th anniversary of the Great Russian Social Revolution. It comprises paintings, easel and printed graphic art, sculptures, objects of decorative and applied art, posters as well as photographs from private collection of Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The exhibition presents works that reflect at the same time equally changed social status of woman and artist's traditional perception of woman as a muse, a source of inspiration and sensual beauty. Highlights include canvases by Alexander Samokhvalov 'On the Stadium' and 'After Crossing-Country Race', Alexander Deineka 'Expanse', Andrei Mylnikov 'Morning'. The most part of the works are presented in such context for the first time: sketches for unpainted 'Joy of Life' by Alexander Samokhvalov, 'Night' by Alexander Deineka, models by Yuri Pimenov and Vladimir Lebedev, Alexander Shevchenko and Andrei Goncharov, 'Nude with White Drapery' by Vladimir Malagis.
