New Jersey pop-punk band My Chemical Romance, who traveled the globe last year in support of their platinum-selling album "The Black Parade," are on a month-long tour of the U.S. in March. The tour, which features support from Billy Talent and Drive By, kicks off on March 28th in Tempe, Arizona. My Chemical Romance is also putting the finishing touches on an upcoming CD/DVD titled "The Black Parade is Dead!," which was filmed over several weeks in October 2007.
Released in October 2006, "The Black Parade" shot to No. 2 on Billboard's Top 200 album chart, selling more than 240,000 copies its first week of release.
Based in New Jersey, My Chemical Romance is an alternative pop/rock and punk-pop band that got started in the early 2000s. Their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love was released in 2002 and they have never looked back since.
