Blue Man Group mania shows no signs of slowing down as the three beloved “Bald and Blue” pop culture icons announce an 82 additional dates from San Diego to Miami to their successful concert tour, which has been rocking arenas all over North and South America since last fall.
After ordering a tongue-in-cheek “how-to manual,” Blue Man Group is joined by an eight-piece band and takes audiences "through step-by-step, song-by-song, head-bobbing, fist-pumping moments of a real concert" with constant hi tech interaction with their audience. The result: a clever interactive show. San Francisco-based multimedia artist Mike Relm opens the show with a mix of spins, scratches, music and video clips in a mash-up of pop-culture.
The Blue Man Group is best known for its award-winning theatrical productions featuring three enigmatic bald and blue characters who take the audience through a multi-sensory experience that combines theatre, percussive music, art, science and vaudeville into a form of entertainment.
