NYCB was co-founded by George Balanchine, one of the 20th Century's most influential choreographers. This is your chance to see Balanchine's gorgeous choreography performed by dancers from the company he created, who excel in demonstrating his signature style.

Programme 2 - Jerome Robbins: An American Icon Thu 13, Sat 15 at 7.30pm, Sat 15 at 2pm
Programme two pays tribute to American icon Jerome Robbins who succeeded Balanchine as NYCB's ballet master in 1972, after a prolific career alternating between Broadway and ballet. Like Balanchine, his choreography fits perfectly on the American dancers, who have been specially trained in his distinct style.

In programme three the New York City Ballet showcase works by four of today's brightest choreographic talents; Christopher Wheeldon, Alexei Ratmansky, Mauro Bigonzetti and the company’s own Ballet Master in Chief, Peter Martins.
