Mountain Treasure Hunt, Storytelling, Battle of the Bands, Gem and Mineral displays, arts, crafts, and food vendors, and assorted demonstrations seek to educate festival visitors about the history of gem mining and the Gold Rush Era in North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountain region.
