Carlo Goldini’s The Servant of Two Masters, the production from Milan’s Piccolo Teatro, in a presentation directed by the commedia dell’arte master Giorgio Strehler. Performed virtually non-stop since 1947, the play will be performed in the original Italian with French and English surtitles) The role of Harlequin (Arlecchino) will be played by the actor Ferruccio Soleri, who for more than forty years has been performing all over the world the acrobatic role of the mischievous servant. Three hundred years after the birth of Goldoni (1707-1793), sixty years after the re-creation of his play and ten years after the death of Strehler 1921-1997), the tradition continues.
