Jerez Horse Fair

A spectacular equestrian event, the Jerez Horse show takes place in the Gonzalez Hontoria Park.

Some of the world's finest horses and riders compete in the endurance trials, coach driving, "pursuit and tumble" and dressage competitions, with a stunning display of the finest horses of the region.

The major highlight of the horse fair is the Como bailan Los Caballos Andaluces show, performed by the Real Escuela de Arte Ecuestre (Royal School of Equestrian Art). This can be a rather chic event as only the Andalusian Spanish can pull off, so ticket sales are brisk and the sherry is excellent.
