This unusual festival brings together the work of artists and writers around a theme connected to the Eternal City and for this tenth edition the organisers have chosen to focus on women asking the 116 contributors to highlight the infinite diversity of the female sex within the Roman society. These 58 artist and an equivalente number of authors and poet marks the largest partecipation in the festival since the idea was born from an initiative launched by the Repubblica newspaper a decade ago. Young and old, men and women, internationally reknowned and aspiring newcomers, these artists and authors present a wide spectrum of contemporary talent and creative representations of Rome's female genious, both ancient and modern. The festival, held over the past years in galleries and museums, returns to the foyers of Parco della Musica from 28 January 2009 to International Women's Day on 8 March 8 2009.
