Choreographer Ralph Lemon (Come home Charley Patton, 2004 Next Wave) returns to BAM with How Can You Stay in the House All Day and Not Go Anywhere?, a multimedia dance work that explores loss and transcendence. Incorporating the fruits of Lemon’s collaboration with Walter Carter, a 102-year-old ex-sharecropper from the Mississippi Delta, this piece ruminates on the memories and futuristic dreams of a life fully lived.
