Berliner Liste 2010
BERLIN  •  Münze Berlin  •  Ongoing

In total, 111 international exhibitors will present their latest and most innovative works of art this year on over 4,000 square metres of exhibition space. The BERLINER LISTE also includes exhibitors from countries such as Colombia, Russia, Romania, South Korea and Latvia. For the first time, three exhibitors will travel from Israel. 20 countries are represented this year.

As in previous years, the Berliner Liste remains true to its concept and is featuring a new, exciting and unusual exhibition site in 2010 – the Münze Berlin. Prior editions have seen the Postbahnhof am Gleisdreieck, the vacant, former Haus Cumberland on Kurfürstendamm and the Palais am Tiergarten as selected venues.

The Münze Berlin looks back on an interesting history, which is closely linked to that of the city itself. For 70 years, the former mint produced coins from the Reichsmark to the Euro until its closure in 2006. The building still exudes the charm of Berlin’s industrial architecture of the 1930s.
