Comprised of over 200 photographs from the SK Stiftung Kulture, this exhibition represents an in depth examination of August Sander's portraiture. Sander (1876 – 1964), who worked early in the 20th century, photographed anonymous people dressed in wrok clothjing, thern divided the images into seven archetypal groups such as "The Farmer" and "The Woman", to reveal their subjects' social roles.
