The opera will be presented for the first time in a new production by English director Richard Jones.
John Graham-Hall, whose portrayal of Gustav von Aschenbach met with acclaim in Death in Venice, stars as impetuous fisherman Peter Grimes in this mysterious tale set in a small fishing village on England’s east coast in the first half of the nineteenth century.
