In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Brooklyn Music School (www.brooklynmusicschool.org) hosts its third annual cultural celebration of dance, music, food and crafts from Latin American and Caribbean nations in a Street Fair on Saturday, 13 October beginning at 11:00 am at 126 Saint Felix Street in Brooklyn.
The event features live performances, plus food, arts & crafts and vendors from diverse nations, as well as the opportunity to visit music and dance classes at the school.
Students ages 5 -- 10 are encouraged to participate in open classes and enjoy a hands-on experience in guitar, basic piano, drums and violin, as well as tap dance and Hip Hop dance.
The Street Fair combines, on one stage, representatives of traditional folklore plus classical and contemporary music and dance from four countries. Performers include:

Featured vendors include Caribbean handmade jewelry, tacos, enchiladas and tamales of Mexico, empanadas and arepas of Colombia.
