The Sleeping Beauty Music: Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Choreography: Christopher Wheeldon
The immortal story is the tale of a princess who pricks herself with a spindle and who, rather than perishing from her misfortune, is destined to sleep for 100 years.
The young rising-star choreographer Christopher Wheeldon created this acclaimed reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky’s great classic for the Royal Danish Ballet in 2010 – framed by Jérôme Kaplan’s piquant décor and costumes.
