| Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
New York City Center’s Principal Dance Company returns with audience favorites and new productions, including Garth Fagan’s African- and Caribbean-influenced From Before, Jirí Kylián’s breathtaking Petite Mort, and Artistic Director Robert Battle’s propulsive Strange Humors. Kyle Abraham’s Another Night, a world premiere supported by commissioning funds from City Center, is a richly inventive contemporary jazz piece. Ronald K. Brown’s rapturous Grace returns, and at select performances, the beloved Revelations will be performed with live music or an expanded cast of 50 dancers.
