The exhibition is intended to provide diverse interpretations of the theme of sleep and dreams in Russian art. Philosophy, metaphor and religion are among the themes revealed in the paintings, sculptures and graphic works of the 18th to the early 19th century from the collection of the Russian Museum. The exhibition include works by such artists as I.Prokofyev, F.Sсhedrin, K.Bryullov, А. Venetsianov, M.Vrubel, А.Ryabushkin, А.Golubkina, Н.Sapunov, А.Matveev, Е.Moiseenko, V. Popkov, T.Nazarenko, O. Bulgakova and others.
