The French photographer Antoine d’Agata comes to Le Bal with Anticorps, an installation which shows twenty years of his work.
"It's not how a photographer looks at the world that is important. It's their intimate relationship with it.", notes Antoine d'Agata.
Born in Marseille in 1961, Antoine D'Agata left France in the early eighties, studying photography at the International Centre for Photography in New York in 1990 alongside Larry Clark and Nan Goldin.
Antoine D'Agata joined Magnum Photos as a Nominee in 2004 and became a full member in 2008.
Curated by Fannie Escoulen and Bernard Marcadé, the exhibition Anticorps is produced in partnership with FOTOMUSEUM (The Hague) and FORMA (Milan).
