Fès Arabo-Andalousian Orchestra
Classical Arabic music consists in nûbat (nubas), initially 24. In Morocco the music is called al ala and contains eleven nûbat, the others having been lost. One of the most popular, the Nûba al-Istihlal, is interpreted in its entirety (around seven hours and forty minutes!) by the illustrious Fès Arabo-Andalousian Orchestra.
