Twelve videos made by eleven artists from Beijing, Shanghai, Canton and Hangzhou (including several women, which would have been unheard-of just a few years ago). They show the ebullience, the sense of fun, the dynamism and the creativity of the young Chinese scene. Most of these works were made just a few months ago.
The exhibition presented at the MEP is part of the Year of China in France, organized in China by the Comité d'organisation chinois des Années croisées Chine-France and the Ministry of Culture, and in France by the Commissariat général français des Années croisées France-Chine, the Foreign Affaires Ministry, the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Association française d'action artistique.
