Strong line-up including Maxim Vengerov, Martha Argerich, Thomas Quasthoff, Deborah Voigt, Christoph von Dohnányi, Evgeny Kissin, Leif Ove Andsnes, Gidon Kremer, Vadim Repin mark the more than 40 concerts in the giant Salle Médran tent at Verbier in the heart of the Swiss Alps. In addition, this year's festival offers performances by Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Mischa Maisky, Yundi Li, Yuri Bashmet, Il Giardino Armonico, Verbier Festival Youth Orchestra and conductors Esa-Pekka Salonen and James Levine.
