The Helsinki Festival is an excellent opportunity to become better acquainted with music of this century. Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, Borodin Quartet, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra under Esa-Pekka Salonen, Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra under Paavo Berglund, Olli Mustonen and András Schiff are the some of the artists on this year's festival programme.
