Inaugural season of an annual two-week festival founded by American violinst Robert McDuffie and Simone Chiarella. The festival consists of three performances each week with two distinct programs of chamber music at the recently restored Villa Aurelia atop the Gianiculum Hill ini Rome. This year's progamme includes music by Haydn, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Copland, Barber interpreted by Robert McDuffie, violin; Nicholas Mann, violin; Hsin-Yun Huang, viola; Antonio Lysy, cello; Misha Dichter, piano; Elena Matteucci, piano; Heidi Grant Murphy, soprano among others.
