Open Rooms is a major exhibition of the work of the internationally-acclaimed Spanish abstract painter Juan Uslé. The exhibition includes some 40 works from the 1990s to 2003 which are grouped into five series – Eolo, Soñé que Revelalabas, Rizoma, In Urbania, Celibataires. Although influenced by ideas, ranging from metaphysical aspirations to multiculturalism, Uslé’s lyrical abstract works do not aim to be in any way representational, rather they convey his personal vision of the world which is poetic rather than narrative.
