Los Angeles-based Ed Ruscha is one of the most influential artists of the last forty years, known for his pioneering use of language and for imagery drawn from popular culture.

His name is synonymous with the Californian landscape: highways, parking lots, palm trees, apartment blocks and the false glitz of Hollywood are referred to repeatedly in his art. This major exhibition includes work on paper, books, photographs and paintings from the early 1960s to today.
