This exhibition of engravings marks Antoni Tápies’ eighty years. The Barceloan-born artist received the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennial in 1993, the Herbert Boeckl in 1994, and in the same year, he was elected as a member of The French Academy of Fine Arts. All of this occured after the inauguration in Barcelona, of the art foundation which bares his name.
