An engraver and an illustrator, Henri Rivière (1864 - 1951) was also a skilled photographer as early as the 1880s. On view are pictures of Parisian streets, of the cabaret "Le Chat Noir" or of the Eiffel Tower, scenes of the countryside in Brittany, portraits of his relatives in their family intimacy.
