Featuring over 20 masterworks, this focused exhibition is the first to highlight the intersection between the genre of still life and the medium of watercolor in the oeuvre of Paul Cézanne (1839 – 1906). The exhibition begins with early examples of his work from around 1865 and culminates with the Getty's Still Life with a Blue Pot. The show brings together works from the Louvre, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and others.
