The Finnish artist Eija-Liisa Ahtila (b. 1959) first came to prominence in the early 1990s. Her work which can be presented equally in a cinema, on television or in a gallery context, deals with the theme of human relationships - between families, lovers, genders - by way of naarative that is drawn from the artists own experiences and observations.
This exhibition features video, film, photography and installation and includes a number of key works from the past ten years, such as Me/We, Okay and Gray 1993, three short films originally made for broadcast between mainstream television programmes in Finland.
