Seven companies will present two world premieres and the program will encompass a wide variety of contemporary dance from internationally renowned companies, such as Aterballetto, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Zurich Ballet, Finland's Tero Saarinen and lesser-known experimental dance troupes, such as the Rio de Janeiro based company of Deborah Colker and France's Compagnie Montavlo-Hervieu or Canada's Dave St-Pierre & Compagnie.

Dave St. Pierre experiments and improvises with his performers on the themes of violence and cruelty. With an eye on the mechanisms of the usual cynical handling of perversion and violence, with an eye on the naked, unprotected human body – caught up in abnormal situations, unattractive and vulnerable at the same time. The performers, dancers, musicians and actors improvise with the audience’s reactions. Every evening a new show, a new performance is created together with the audience – integrating the tolerance and emotions of the audience as well as of the 14 performers.
