Part of the Hellenic Festival created in 1955, music is very much a part of this festival which also features classical Greek drama, international dance and opera. Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, Berlin Comic Opera Orchestra, Wiener Singverein Choir, Greek National Opera, Southwest German Philharmonic Orchestra, Athens State Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra are some of the artists in this year's line-up.
