The Australian outback of the 1880s. Charlie (Guy Pearce) and his brothers have just raped and murdered a settler family. Captain Stanley (Ray Winstone) offers Charlie a proposition: he and his younger brother Mikey can go free if Charlie kills his older brother Arthur, an outlaw Stanley is intent on bringing to justice.
