Divided into three different periods and three different locations, Costruire le modernità is an important exhibition devoted to Italian architects Franco Albini, Ignazio Gardella and Carlo Mollino. The first exhibition focuses on the work of Franco Albini (1905 - 1977) whose designs include the Palazzo Bianco and Rosso in Genoa (1950-1962), the Museo del Tesoro di San Lorenzo in Genoa (1952), the Magazzini La Rinascente in Rome, and the Milan subway stations (Compasso d'oro in 1964).
